Stan Brown

Stan Brown was appointed to the Assistant Chief of Police position in October of 2006. He rose through the ranks of the Department after beginning his employment here in October of 1994. He worked as a Police Officer for the City of Catoosa for five years prior to employment with the City of Claremore 

 

Stan holds Advanced Certification through Oklahoma’s C.L.E.E.T. (Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training).  This certification is based on the demonstration of proficiency in numerous areas of law enforcement.  To include Breathalyzer and Intoxilyzer operator, radar operator, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, CLEET Firearms Instructor, basic and advanced Instructor and others.  Stan has documented over 2000 hours of in-service training in his 20 years of law enforcement experience.  He has a passion for training and the improvement of service by himself and his peers for the community.  He is instrumental in the implementation of the current Citizen’s Police Academy and Field Training Officer Programs. 

 

He has attended Leadership Rogers County, Tulsa University’s PEDAL (Police Executive Development And Leadership) program.  Stan is also past-president of Rogers County Law Enforcement Association.  Stan is a current member of the Oklahoma Chiefs of Police Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.

 

Stan has three children Chance, Chase, and Krystan and one grandchild, Starla. He currently resides in the Claremore area and continues to further his education and qualification for service by attending classes at Rogers State University. Stan has a passion for service to people and enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.

 
John Cary

John Cary a practicing attorney and community volunteer. He is a board member of Leadership Rogers County, Rogers County Historical Society, Share the Spirit Foundation, RSU Innovation Center Advisory Board, and the Claremore Redevelopment Authority. 

 

John was the chair of the Rogers County Historical Society's Will Rogers Hotel preservation committee that renovated, in partnership with 2 other entities, Claremore's Will Rogers Hotel and was the 2001 drive chair for the

Claremore Area United Way

 

His wife, Bobbie, is the Resource Development Director for the William W. Barnes Child Advocacy Center and a community volunteer. They have 2 children - Patrick, who lives in Houston, and Liz, who lives in Claremore.

 
 
Celina Davis

Celina Davis is a graduate and alumni of the 2004/2005 Leadership Rogers County program.

 

In addition to serving on the Leadership Board; she is a founding member of the College Hill Toastmasters who has served as VP of Membership, VP of PR, and Past President for the club. She is currently the Area T-4 Governor in Toastmasters for the state of Oklahoma.  Celina is also a member of the Rogers County Young Professionals Organization, is a 2005 graduate of the Claremore Citizens Police Academy and a volunteer for Junior Achievement.

 
Celina loves spending time with her husband, Michael Davis (a member of the Claremore Elks) and her 4 children: Leisha, Jayden (also a graduate of LRC), Jordan and Kessiah.

Marilyn Gibson

Marilynn is the Chief Financial Officer/First Deputy for the Rogers County Clerk.  Marilynn started her career with Rogers County in 1979 as a Deputy Treasurer before transferring to the County Clerk’s Office in 1983.

 

Marilynn is an alumnus of the 2007-08 Leadership Class, and has proudly served on the Leadership Board since February 2010.  She is also an active volunteer for

United Way
.  Marilynn is a charter member of WINGS, (Women Impacting the Nations by God’s Spirit).  She is also a speaker for the event.  Marilynn is active in her church, The Sanctuary Christian Worship Center in Chelsea.  Marilynn shares her thoughts and musing on her blog site, PrincessMarilynn.blogspot.com.

 

Marilynn is a native and current resident of Chelsea.   Her husband, Douglas is owner of “Dougies Buggies Auto Sales” on historic Route 66.  They have one son, Daniel who lives in Ozark, MO with his wife Kati and their four children, Alli, Jordan, Judah, and Emmyn, lovingly referred to as the ‘Grand-Angels’.


 

Rosalie currently serves as the immediate past president of Leadership Rogers County.  She was a 2003-2004 graduate of the program and is active in many community and civic organizations.  She is a past president of the Inola Chamber of Commerce and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Chamber and the Rogers County Adult Day Care Center.  Rosalie also serves as president of ESA Membership Corporation and is a past president of the International Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, a non profit philanthropic organization and is president of her local chapter Sigma Chi in Inola.

 

Rosalie also serves as Secretary of the Trust Authority for Rural Economic Development of Inola and chaired the Oklahoma Century Community Project for the Town of Inola and was successful in getting the town certified as an Oklahoma Century Community through the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. She is also a recent graduate of the Oklahoma Citizens Academy, sponsored by the Oklahoma Community Institute.

 

Rosalie served on her local school board for twenty years and is a past president of the Oklahoma State School Boards Association.  She currently serves as a Consultant for the Oklahoma State School Boards Association and provides Whole Board Development Training for school boards.  She is employed full time as an Executive Assistant at the Bank of Oklahoma in Tulsa.

 

Rosalie is a member of the National Association of Parliamentarians and has been a long time member of Toastmasters.  Rosalie is married to Lester who is employed by Spirit in Tulsa and has two grown children and three grandchildren.

  


Paula Roland currently serves as the Marketing Director and President’s Executive Assistant at 1st Bank Oklahoma where she acts as a liaison between the bank and the community.

 

Paula graduated from Leadership Rogers County in 2004-2005 and has served on the Leadership Rogers County board since its inception in 2006. In addition to serving on various committees Paula served as President in 2009. She is active in several community organizations such as the Sequoyah PTO and Faith Baptist Church. Each year she serves as Co-Chair of the Rogers County Training Center Golf Tournament and Auction. She has been active in many community organizations in the past including serving as the president of the Inola Chamber of Commerce and the Inola Sigma Chi Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, a non profit philanthropic organization.

 

Paula lives in Claremore with husband, Brian who serves as a manager at Centrilift, a Baker Hughes Company. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Rogers County program. They have two small children, Sidney and Landry who are their parent’s greatest achievements.
